Aerial Fitness 

Aerial Fitness utilises a series of exercises created with the intent of strengthening and conditioning the upper and lower body, as well as the core, through the use of own body weight.

To achieve this, learners are provided with a syllabus to match their learning needs and capabilities.

Aerial fitness has been proven to help improve the overall fitness, endurance, mobilisation and flexibility of the learner. 

Our classes are designed to provide learners with the tools to develop and improve internal and external changes, through the promotion of positive lifestyle changes, and a can do attitude.

Class: Pole Fitness

 

Features of the class:

  • The  beginner pole fitness class has been designed for adults and children of all abilities (aged from 5yrs - 60yrs +)

  • If your looking to learn the basics of developing overall flexibility, strength and endurance through a range of spins and combinations, then this is definitely the class for you. 

  • This session provides the basic fundamentals of how to use and execute moves safely using a static pole.

  • Learner will cover various spins/moves, inverts & tricks (if applicable), conditioning, strengthening and flexibility exercises during sessions

  •  
  • Over the duration of the course. All learners will be given the opportunity to learn moves using a static and spinny pole.
  • We offer a range of classes that range from beginner - advanced (for adults, children or families)
  • During each session careful instruction by a professional trainer will be provided, to outline the do’s and don’ts of the session
  • The aerial equipment used within our fitness studio are all industry standard (by X-pole)
  • Appropriate attire is required at all times (shorts, crop/sports bra, vest, a long sleeved top and long bottoms (for cool down and if the studio is cold), a small towel and a bottle of water to keep hydrated.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE

Learners must not wear any oils, cocoa/shea butter, lotions, tanning lotions or moisturisers on the day of the session, as it can make it very dangerous when using the aerial equipment.

Learners are advised not to bring in any valuable items or wear any jewellery to sessions, as Pole-A-Gise Dance and Fitness Ltd, will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to personal items.

Jessica - Adults Beginners

Class: UV Pole Dance

Features of the class:

  • Urban Pole Dance is a combination of choreography on and off the pole, to provide learners with a fun challenging workout. 

  • Routines are influenced by RnB, Dancehall, Bashment, Hip Hop/Trap, Soulful House in addition to music from various genres.

  • This class is designed for adults over 21yrs+

  • No previous experience is required, as everything learners need to know will be covered diring the session

 

  • Appropriate attire is required (shorts, a comfortable top, knee pads, trainers, a comfortable pair of heels, a small towel and a bottle of water to keep hydrated).

Learners must not wear any oils, cocoa/shea butter, lotions, tanning lotions or moisturisers on the day of the session, as it can make it very dangerous when using the aerial equipment.

Class: Pole Conditioning

 

Features of the class:

  • Our pole conditioning sessions have been designed for adults
  • During each session careful instruction by a professional trainer will be provided, to outline the do’s and don’ts of the session
  • The aerial equipment used within our fitness studio are all industry standard (by X-pole)
  • Appropriate attire is required at all times (shorts, crop/sports bra, vest, a long sleeved top and long bottoms (for cool down and if the studio is cold), a small towel and a bottle of water to keep hydrated.
  • This session will focus of executing a small number of moves continuously for a duration of time. The aim of the session is to increase overall body strength by executing moves by engaging the correct muscles without using forces momentum (i.e. jump, kick or swing)

Class: Pole Practice

 

Features of the class:

  • Our pole practice sessions have been designed for adults
  • During each session careful instruction by a professional trainer will be provided, to outline the do’s and don’ts of the session
  • The aerial equipment used within our fitness studio are all industry standard (by X-pole)
  • Appropriate attire is required at all times (shorts, crop/sports bra, vest, a long sleeved top and long bottoms (for cool down and if the studio is cold), a small towel and a bottle of water to keep hydrated.
  • This session is a self taught session, as learners will use this time to recap over moves they have been working on. Although an instructor will be on site, they will only be supervising the session to ensure that there are no safety issues, not to teach new moves.

Features of the class:

  • Pole fabric/Silk classes have been designed for adults and children of all abilities (from 5yrs - 60yrs +)

  • If your looking for an alternative way to combine aerial silk moves/tricks with the pole, then this is definitely the class for you. As the session will make help to make some of those challenging moves a little easier.

  • We offer a range of classes that range between beginner  - advanced (for adults, children or families)
  • During each session careful instruction by a professional trainer will be provided, to outline the do’s and don’ts of the session
  • The aerial equipment used within our fitness studio are all industry standard (by X-pole)
  • Appropriate attire is required at all times (shorts, crop/sports bra, vest, a long sleeved top and long bottoms (for cool down and if the studio is cold), a small towel and a bottle of water to keep hydrated.
