All classes and membership payments must be paid for in advance via our online booking system or Internet Banking.
Please note that as of January 2019, we will be accepting cash payments. However, if you choose to use this method, please be aware that all cash transactions will be subject to a £2.50 admistration and handling to process this method of payment.
ALL class places are reserved on a first come first serve basis. To secure your slot will require full payment. Once your full payment has been received for your chosen session, you will receive a confirmation email/text to confirm your booking.
Due to limited class spaces, we will not be able to guarantee classes spaces if you have not secure your slot with. Payment. In the unfortunate event that your chosen class is fully booked. The i’m afraid that for health and safety purposes, that we will have to refuse admission after the cut off point.
Please be advised before making a booking with Pole-A-Gise Dance and Fitness Ltd, that all classes/sessions are non refundable or transferable. If sessions are missed or cancelled, any monies paid will be forfeited to cover the cost of the booking.
If service users arrive more than 5 minutes late to any session, please note that they you may unfortunately be asked to leave the session, as the late arrival will and can be very disruptive to the rest of the group. As the increase risk of injury to service users will be much higher due to missing out on a vital body warm up. The discretion to let participants join a session will be down to the instructor taking the class. Please note that if this is the case, Pole-A-Gise Dance and Fitness Ltd, will not accept any liability for any injuries obtained, as it will be duty of the service users to ensure that a full warm up is carried out.
If you are booked into 1-2-1 session, it will be upto the discretion of the instructor. As sessions follow a specific structure, the instructor will not be able to carry out an additional warm up or recap over any missed moves for health and safety reasons
At all times, it is very important that you follow your teacher’s instructions throughout the duration of the class; failure to do this will be unacceptable as it may risk the safety of yourself and the other students in your class. You must only follow instructions given by your Instructor; it is forbidden to teach other students moves or to attempt moves that you have not yet been shown by a Pole-A-Gise Dance and Fitness Instructor.
Pole-A-Gise Dance and Fitness Ltd, appreciates that each student wants to progress in a reasonable amount of time. Which is why we are here to ensure you do just that in the safest possible way. If there is a move you’d like to try please ask your Instructor to show you. If we feel you are not ready for a particular move then we will give you an alternative to work on and build you up for the move you’d like to learn.
Our Instructors have undergone full training to enable them to teach in the safest possible way. Undermining an Instructor is potentially dangerous and could result in removal from the class with any monies paid being forfeited.
All students are required to fill out a waiver of liability, assumption of risk and screening form (PAR-Q) before the session, and must keep their Instructor informed of any changes at all times; which may result in a new form being filled out or a doctors note being requested. If you are unsure if you are fully fit and able to do a session please consult your GP first. All details are kept in accordance with the GDPR.
If you are pregnant then unfortunately you will not be permitted to attend classes at our studio, as we are not insured or qualified to teach you. For recent births (within 6 weeks natural birth or 12 weeks C-sec) we may request a note from your GP or Health Care professional if there are any serious health issues, concerns or injuries (existing or pre-existing).
Any student under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will not be permitted to participate in any classes for their own safety. If students knowingly attend sessions under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs or are deemed to be acting in an unsafe manner, they will be asked to leave the class, and may risk losing any further classes and will forfeit any monies paid.
Although we will never book more than 2-3 people to a pole or 3 people to a hoop in classes, there may be rare occasions beyond our control, where for safety reasons we may reduce the number of poles/hoops available for the class.
At all times, all forms of jewellery must be removed before participating in a class.
Only pole specific grip may be used in our studio. We have Mighty Grip powder, Dry Hands liquid chalk, Itac2, XDry Sports Grip and Girlie Grip Liquid Chalk available for students to purchase.
We ask that students leave phones (on silent) in the designated clothing storage area with their belongings as it can be distracting during the class.
With the permission of the instructor, we are happy for students to take photographs in our studio. If however, this becomes disruptive at any time Pole-A-Gise Dance and Fitness Ltd reserves the right to refuse photos being taken. We may from time to decide to use images taken during sessions for promotional purposes (Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Website, Promotional literature, with prior consent from all parties involved. We happily welcome you to tag yourself and/or repost images that you are in on your personal profiles.
If you are an Instructor or are planning and/or training to become an Instructor then please ensure that our team is aware of this before booking. We have no problem with allowing other Instructors to attend our classes as we understand that we all have to train somewhere, but for obvious reasons this could be seen as a conflict of interests if you fail to let us know.
Once in a class environment you are there as a student so teaching other students is strictly prohibited; regardless of your experience as an Instructor. Advertising your services as an Instructor is not allowed and if you are seen to be poaching students of Pole-A-Gise Dance and Fitness Ltd, then you will be asked to leave. Any breach of this condition may result in you being rejected from the class and any monies paid forfeited.
Due to circumstances beyond our control we reserve the right to change the time, date, venue or Instructor of your class. You will be notified if this happens.
We do not tolerate any form of bullying within our classes. If a student is seen to be bullying or making another student or Instructor feel uncomfortable, then they will be asked to leave with any monies paid forfeited.
We reserve the right to ask anyone who challenges our terms and conditions to leave immediately and they will not be allowed back onto any future classes or events.
